One of the many things that makes Lippmann’s Furniture & Design stand apart from the rest is our team of highly skilled and certified interior designers. Our professional designers are knowledgeable and committed to customer satisfaction. At Lippmann’s we want to ensure that your vision is brought to life while also helping you make the right home-furnishing decisions for any room. What that dream looks like and how it comes to life, is completely up to you!
Ben “backed into” the interior design profession with a BFA from the University of Kansas in commercial art and illustration. Ben originally started at Lippmann’s illustrating and composing the store’s print advertising. With the encouragement of M. Walter Lippmann, Ben decided to give interior design “a try” to supplement his freelance illustration business. It was a good fit, and 30-plus years later, Ben still loves his work. “Every client and project is unique.” Although he stays current on design, color, and furniture trends, Ben believes an interior should reflect each client’s own style, taste and interests rather than mirroring the current fashion. His portfolio includes local and regional residential, healthcare and hospitality design projects.
“I TAKE A COLLECTOR’S APPROACH TO INTERIORS – BLENDING GREAT DESIGNS FROM THE PAST AND TODAY, FOR A LOOK THAT IS CLASSIC AND CURRENT. MAKING MY CLIENTS LOVE THEIR LIVING SPACE IS MY PASSION.”
Joan has developed her expertise from ten years in the furniture business. She considers it a privilege to serve each client. Joan’s approach begins with listening to the client, resulting in the transformation of his or her dreams and design visions into reality. She believes your home should provide comfort, inspire you, and reflect your style and color preferences.
“I BELIEVE IT IS IMPORTANT TO LISTEN TO MY CLIENT’S DESIRES, NEEDS AND EXPECTATIONS. WITH ALL THAT INFORMATION, AND WORKING HAND IN HAND WITH MY CLIENTS TOGETHER WE CAN DESIGN THE HOME OF YOUR DREAMS.”
My 16 years of experience started with the Lippmann family at Parkway Home Furnishings and then to Lippmann’s Furniture and Interiors. I then had the opportunity to move to the suburbs of Chicago, where I worked with Ethan Allen, Thomasville Home Furnishings and Ashley Furniture. Along with working in furniture, my family and I moved frequently, therefore it was imperative that I designed my own homes with the possibility to sell them. This gives me a unique perspective for designing for others. If I could say the one thing that I have learned is that it is very, very important to listen to my clients. With their input, I can design their home into their very own retreat!
“With all the decorating shows on TV and the internet, the consumer is inundated with so many choices. My goal is to take the stress out of your furniture shopping and design, and lead you to a simpler way to create your space to be uniquely yours.”
Lynne’s experience in the design world encompasses many disciplines of interior design. Working with builders and residential clients, she can enhance your home’s beauty and livability by addressing the needs for task lighting, proper general illumination, or ambiance and drama.
She has also been a design consultant for paint wallpaper and window treatments such as custom draperies, top treatments, pleated and roman shades and all the wonderful choices we have today to beautify our windows and control heat, cooling and light in our rooms.
Her twenty years of experience in furniture rounds out her life long history in design and interiors. She loves working with each client to assist them in fulfilling their dreams, express there passions and create wonderful homes that will enhance their life styles.
“Although the goal is to design beautiful furniture and spaces, the priority is to create a home that will express the client’s life style, his design vision and provide a timeless comfortable home for him and his loved ones! Good design reflects the personalities that live there. “
